As of January 2025, there is no official confirmation regarding the production or release of a movie titled "Wrong Turn: Final Chapter." Speculation about such a film began circulating in early 2024 after a fan-made trailer appeared online. This trailer, shared by the YouTube channel Foxstar Media in April 2024, was identified as containing "altered or synthetic content," indicating it was not an official production.
The most recent installment in the Wrong Turn franchise is the 2021 reboot, directed by Mike P. Nelson and written by Alan B. McElroy. Both Nelson and McElroy have expressed interest in continuing the series. McElroy mentioned plans for a trilogy based around the concept introduced in the 2021 film, stating, "I had planned two more films, so there would be a trilogy, based around this idea of the Foundation and these characters." Nelson also indicated a desire to proceed with the series, noting, "We are doing what we can... We would love to be able to continue this."
